The one grandparents ask for copies of, that gets pulled out and passed around, and that someday finds its way into the hands of the next generation. Designed to create stunning, fine-art images that showcase the beauty and personality of your little ones in a traditional, elegant style.

What is a Print Credit?

These photos shouldn't live on your phone. Every collection includes a print credit that can be used toward any of my keepsake products, including albums, framed prints, custom birth announcements, and more.

What ages work best for heirloom portraits?

Heirloom portrait sessions are designed for children between 9 months and 5 years old. Old enough to sit independently and let their personality show, young enough that childhood is still fully written on their face.

If you want to capture those softer baby features before they start to fade, I recommend booking before your child turns 2

Commonly asked

questions

How long is the session?

Heirloom sessions are intentionally short and focused — up to 30 minutes per child. Young children do their best when things are kept simple and playful, so we move at their pace, keep the energy light, and let their personality do the rest.

What should my child wear?

Heirloom portraits are framed closely, so the focus is entirely on your child's face. Only the collar and shoulders will be visible in the final image. A simple, classic neckline is all you need. Think Peter Pan collars, delicate ruffles, smocked details, or a crisp white button-down. Soft, natural fabrics like cotton and linen photograph beautifully, and timeless over trendy is always the right call (avoid logos, bold prints, or anything too of-the-moment that might date the portrait years from now).

Can I bring more than one child?

Absolutely. Additional children from the same immediate family are $100 each, added to the $150 session fee. Each child gets their own portrait session within the studio time.

What if I only want digital files?

Heirloom portrait sessions are designed with printed artwork in mind. Every collection includes a print credit to put toward wall art, albums, canvases, and other keepsakes, because these portraits deserve to exist somewhere beyond a screen. Digital files are included so you can share and treasure them, but the true heart of an heirloom session is the framed portrait that hangs on your wall and stays there for generations.
